How to Reset Forgotten Windows Vista Admin or Other User Password

Step 1: Download and install "Windows Password Rescuer Personal" on "another computer" you can access.

Click "Buy Now" button on our website to purchase the Windows Password Rescuer Personal, then you will receive retail version within several minutes. Download and install the retail version on your computer, then run it to create a Windows Password Recovery Disk:

1. Insert a CD/DVD or plug in a USB flash drive to your computer. Choose CD/DVD or USB Device option.

2. Select the CD/DVD or USB drive name from pull-down list, click Begin Burning to start burning. After successfully complete burning. Take out the disk and transfer it to your "locked computer" for Windows Vista password recovery.

Step 2: Insert the Windows password recovery disk to your locked computer, set the computer boot from the disk.

If you created a Windows password recovery disk with CD/DVD, refer to How to boot from CD/DVD-ROM.

If you created a Windows password recovery disk with USB Flash Drive, refer to How to boot from USB drive.

Step 3: Reset Windows Vista administrator/user password on a friendly interface.

After booting from CD/DVD or USB, Windows Password Rescuer Personal will start automatically and display a friendly interface.

1. All user accounts(including the hidden accounts) of Windows Vista will be displayed. Click a user account which you want to reset its password.

2. Click Reset Password button, you will see a confirm message, click Yes to confirm. You also can reset other user accounts password like this.

Windows Vista Administrator password has been removed and show blank.

4. Now click Reboot. When a confirm message appears, remove your Windows password recovery disk first, and then click Yes. Computer will restart and then you can login administrator without password.

If you don't want to reset any user account password, you just need to login your computer for some reason. You can click Add User button to create a new admin account to your Vista easily. After restarting, you can login Windows Vista with the new user without changing other user accounts password.
