Unfortunately, many people don’t create the disk at all because it is unsafe that it can be missed or stolen by other people. Fortunately, in Windows 10 1803 and later Windows versions, people have another option to prevent a forgotten Windows local account password: add security questions to a local admin account. When you forget the local admin password, just give answers to the security questions. Then you can create a new password for the account without providing the old one.

In this following procedure, I will show you how to bypass Windows 11 local admin password via Security Questions without using any disk or software.

Step 1: In the Windows 11 sign in screen, choose your local admin account and enter any password. When it tells you the password is incorrect, click “OK”. A link for reset password will be displayed. Now click the reset password link.

Step 2: Three security questions will be shown to you. Give answer you set to each question and then select submit (the arrow button).

Step 3: Type a new password and then type it again to confirm. Select “OK” after that. Then you can sign into the admin account with the new password.

If you have not created password reset disk or security question, Hiren’s Boot CD is another free way to bypass Windows 11 local admin password. However, now I only know it is working for Windows 11 Insider version. In the latest Windows 11 version, you can try it yourself. Don’t worry about anything that it won’t affect your computer when you use it even get failed to bypass password. Here is the step-by-step guide of using Hiren’s Boot CD to bypass Windows 11 local admin password.

Step 1: Search for Hiren’s Boot CD on Google and then download the ISO file from the Hiren’s website. Then burn the ISO file onto a writable CD/DVD. This must be completed on another computer.

Step 2: Now insert the Hiren’s Boot CD you just created to your Windows 11 computer. Reboot the computer from CD. When you get the following screen, press arrow key to highlight “Offline NT Password Changer”. Then press Enter key to continue.

Step 3: The program will run and show you the steps to remove Windows password. When it show you step one, type “1” and press Enter key to select “show probable Windows partition”.

Step 4: Next, type “1” and press Enter key to select “Password reset”.

Step 5: System security registry loaded, type “1” and press Enter key to select “Edit user data and passwords”.

Step 6: User data is displayed. To select your target user account, type the user name and then press Enter key.

Step 7: Type “1” and press Enter key to remove its password.

Step 8: Password cleared. Type “!” and then press Enter key.

Step 9: Type “q” and then press Enter key to select “Quit”.

Step 10: About to write file back, type “y” and press Enter key.

Step 11: It will ask you if try the process of password reset again, just type “n” and press Enter key. You don't need to reset any password again.

Step 12: In the last step, remove your bootable CD/DVD and then press CTRL-ALT-DELETE keys to restart the computer. Then you can sign into the user account in Windows 11 Insider without password.

Trick 4: Bypass Windows 11 Local Admin Password with Windows Password Rescuer.

To use Command Prompt to bypass Windows 11 password, you have to firstly launch Command Prompt as administrator. So this requires you have an administrator account available on your Windows 11 computer. Here is how to use Command Prompt to bypass Windows 11 login password.

Step 1: Sign in an administrator account on your computer. Open search box, type “command prompt”. In the search results, right-click “Command Prompt” and then select “Run as administrator”.

Step 2: At the command window, type “net user” and then press Enter. All local user account names will be displayed.
