A: The decryption credits represent a number of documents (protected with "open" password) which you can decrypt. The decryption credits required for the (Word or Excel) document full decryption when it is protected with "open" password and one decryption credit can only decrypt one doc/xls file. If you have bought Office/Word/Excel Password Eraser and want to decrypt more documents, Decryption Credits are needed. After each document decryption your credits will be decreased by one.

You can purchase decryption credits only after purchasing license of the program. After you register the program using your registration information, you can purchase additional credits by clicking "Credits" button or "Help | Add decryption credits" on menu bar.

6. Q: Why the program decrypted my document partially? May I see all document content?

A: If you want to decrypt full document, you need to purchase the full version of Office Password Eraser.

7. Q: Can the program recover original password to open the document?

A: The current program version does not allow to recover original password to open the document (in principal), it can only remove it.

8. Q: Why the program shows that I have zero decryption credits?

A: Zero decryption credits mean that you have already decrypted documents and spent all your credits. To decrypt more documents you need to purchase additional credits by selecting "Credits" button or "Help | Add decryption credits" menu item.

9. Q: Does the program send the document to your server when I decrypt it?

A:The program does NOT send the document to our server. It sends only some service bytes from the document header (these bytes stored in the beginning of the document, but it is not content bytes). Our server does not keep any documents. Your privacy is absolutely guaranteed.

10. Q: Can I decrypt my document without Internet access?

A: Without Internet access the program cannot decrypt documents, protected with "open" password, since it uses our powerful server which requires Internet connection.

11. Q: Can your program remove protection from documents with long multilingual passwords?

A: The program can instantly unprotect documents, protected with "open" password of any length, complexity and language. The strength of the password has no effect on the speed of unprotection.

12. Q: What's the difference between the trial version and full version?

A: Free trial version of Office Password Eraser can only decrypt first 10 rows of the Microsoft Excel documents and 200 characters of the Microsoft Word documents, protected with "open" password. If you need to get full decryption, please purchase the full version.
